Go elsewhere for your logbook needs

I don’t ever write app reviews but I felt that Coradine needs to own up to their performance, or lack thereof, on this app. I upgraded from LogTen Pro version 6.5 and was thoroughly disappointed. First off, the app is severely overpriced. If you go with the mobile app (which I elected not to based on the price) you are essentially paying a subscription-based fee merely to have iCloud syncing between your phone and laptop. As for the app itself, mine won’t even perform the most basic of tasks. I lost all of my totals, smart groups, and currency numbers upon upgrading, despite following the instructions on transferring all of my information from version 6. Luckily I was still able to view all of my flights for safe transfer to another platform. They require you to jump through plenty of hoops to get technical support and there isn’t even a phone number I can call for help. I felt as if once they get paid, they don’t care about anything else.

For logbook apps on a Mac I would look for other options. I quickly switched to another app myself. I will never spend another dime on Coradine software, which is a shame because until I upgraded I had nothing but success.
