Could be better, but its better than what I had

I have the ability to write applications, and I have been keeping my logbook in a database-backed web application of my own creation, but I dont have the time to make it what Id like it to be. I decided it was worth $100 to save me hours of working on something that may not ever pay off.

There are still significant fixes to be made to this application. I actually got a refund after my initial purchase because it just wasnt working, and I needed my logbook printed for an interview. I stuck with my web application, which got the job done. But after working with this application a bit more and trying out the iOS version, I decided its worth the money, and have paid for it again. The report printing capability is what really got me hooked. I have managed to create a CSV exporter and customized one of the logbook report templates to fit what I need, and there is probably even more that I could do. That said, I dont entirely trust this application - I still see glitches here and there, and the companys history is a little troublesome when it comes to their upgrade pricing. For that reason, I will continue to do regular exports to CSV and archive those files in case I need to fire up my own application again.
