Buggy and sync doesn’t work

The app has a lot of potential but a poor, overly complex UI and severe quality issues around synchronization make it all but unusable. The general UI is set up well and it offers a very large amount of flexibility for what data to log, how to list and report on it and how to export it. Unfortunately the UI has gotten more and more complex over time and at this point has become hard to navigate.

Synchronization works via iCloud and is very buggy. I am synchronzing between an iPad, iPhone and MacBook and over the past year it happened several times that one device would stop syncing. Deleting the application from the device and setting it up again would sometimes fix the issue, however in one instance it was necessary to export all data, wipe all of the icloud data and re-install on all devices. Sync issues happened every few weeks to months. This lack of stability makes the app too high maintenanc for me.

I will likely migrate to Foreflight’s logging system.
